Poetry Night (2010)
On November 6th we kicked off a new partnership with P.I.P.E.. The Center for Expressive Arts & Experiential Education hosted a series of family friendly poetry nights with a variety of featured performances by local poets.
P.I.P.E (Poetry in Public Education) has provided poetry workshops and readings at schools around Whatcom and Skagit counties. Visit the poetrynight website for more information on upcoming features and events, poetry reviews and recommendations, and an extensive archive of live performances and interviews.
I coordinated this event. I worked closely with a local organization called P.I.P.E and The Young Writers Studio. Poetry night developed into a series of events for the center that I was managing.
